The Materials Engineering Laboratory (MEL) provides quality testing services for a wide range of building materials used in construction.
To ensure that our clients receive quality testing service, we have :
- brought together a pool of dedicated specialists, stringently trained and continually upgraded to conduct testing and evaluation to the latest test standards and methods. Our innovative specialists are able to develop in-house test methods for our customers where their materials are uncommon and not governed by known testing methods.
- invested a wide range of advanced and heavy duty test equipment for assessment of mechanical and durability properties of building materials.
- developed in-house software systems to monitor test sample status and perform mathematical or statistical analysis of test results on behalf of our clients.
Our laboratory is currently undergoing accreditation by the Singapore Accreditation Council under the "Singapore Laboratory Accreditation Scheme" (SAC-SINGLAS) to ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005. The ISO/IEC 17025 : 2005 is the technical laboratory compliance to ISO 9000 : 2000. |
